Creating a low fidelity prototype was one of the coolest thing we have done all year, by far. It was really fun to make and challenged most of your initial creative ideas because as we all know it’s easier said than done. Once I had finished creating all the important screens for my lo-fi design I got positive reactions from everyone I showed as they all agreed it was a cool way to interact with an early staged idea. When it came to having my classmates try it out, everything went very well and I was able to gather a lot of helpful insight I never saw until another person unfamiliar with my idea interacted with everything.  I would guess that during that class period I was able to get around 7-8 people to fully complete the three tasks we had come up with for this project. Based off of the notes I took during this trial, most users overall said that the test was very straight forward and to the point, which was definitely a goal of mine. One thing that a few users had trouble with was the second task, “Create a new drink recipe” users seems to have difficulty with this mainly because of the wording of the application required to access the option. The mini app that launches the recipe creator is labeled “MyRecipes” as of now and follows a “My” theme with the other alike fridge applications such as “MyFridge” and “MySettings”. After the user had realized what the correct answer was they also stated that it did make sense after some thought but they were looking for something else. Another comment I got was about where my button placement was with saving a recipe, users found it to be too hidden at the bottom. I got a lot of good feedback on the overall layout and versatility of my redesign!
